Pre-K Room

Our Pre‑K program is designed to nurture and prepare young learners (typically ages 4–5) for a smooth and successful transition into kindergarten. We blend play‑based learning, guided discovery, and social‑emotional growth to build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills.

🌱 What Your Child Will Experience:

Language & Literacy: Exploring letters, sounds, storytelling, and vocabulary through books, songs, and group time activities.

Early Math Concepts: Hands‑on learning with counting, sorting, patterns, shapes, and number recognition.

Science & Curiosity: Observations, explorations, and discovery activities that encourage questioning and investigate the world around them.

Creative Arts & Expression: Art projects, music, movement, and imaginative play that foster creativity and fine motor skills.

Social & Emotional Development: Building cooperation, communication, empathy, self‑confidence, and the ability to follow routines with peers.

📖 How We Teach:
Our approach is child‑centered and engaging, using books, music, manipulatives, stories, group activities, and learning stations to make learning fun and meaningful. Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace while being supported as they grow.

🎯 Kindergarten Readiness:
The Pre‑K curriculum emphasizes skills that support kindergarten success — including early literacy, math readiness, listening and communication skills, following instructions, sharing and cooperation, and problem‑solving. These abilities help children feel confident and prepared for the structure and expectations of kindergarten.

👫 A Balanced Day:
Each day includes a mix of teacher‑led activities, child‑initiated play, group learning times, individual exploration, outdoor play, and transition routines to promote independence and a love of learning.
